Dakota and Kennedy are thrown together in a world ravaged by a single disease. Fast spreading and corrupting sanity, civilization was razed to the ground. For those fortunate to have immunity, life isn't easy. Avoiding the diseased is one thing, but without law and order those left take complete advantage of a world they can now build for themselves. Stranded together in the ghost of the country they once knew, Dakota and Kennedy fight through whatever obstacles lay in their path, seeking peace and quiet and maybe something to eat.

Ad's on Indigents!

Hi guys!
Just wanted to announce l'll be hosting ads through Project Wonderful on Indigents. For a long time I wanted the pristine-ad-free experience for Indigents but as I'm monetizing through routes like Patreon, and run ad's on Tapas, I want to do this efficiently as possible. Also as the sub for SJ itself is going up, it's costing me more in the end. I hope running my own ads will help make ends meet. Anwyays, hope it doesn't disturb you guys too much and that you might be kind enough to turn off your ad-block but no pressure!!

Patreon is Live!

Hi guys!

Just letting everyone know, I've set up a Patreon for Indigents.
I'm looking to take this comic in a serious direction, and I'm
committed to making it the best I can. In order to do that
I've created a Patreon to push it into a bigger and better direction.
Feel free to check it out, and thanks everyone for reading.

If you'd like to see something a little different as far as rewards go,
feel free to suggest. I'd love to see what you're interested in.

Temporary Page Delay

Man, Smackjeeves looks all shiny and new...eeee!

Ahem, anyhow, sorry for the lack of consistency lately guys!! I'm aware my updating has been wonky and I've been really pushing to get a page up but I've had a passing in my family and have been called in to work a lot on top of the holiday rush. I will update as soon as I can, but I'm in the middle of an 8-day in a row stretch so my tired lil' body is doing it's best. Just wanted to update everyone so it didn't look like I just disappeared again.

So a page, soon, promise!!

Posting schedule update!

Hello readers! I've gotten a multitude of comments and pm's asking about if this comic is still active which is fair since its been a lengthy amount of time since I've uploaded anything. Indigents is still active, and for those who didn't know my life circumstances made it quite difficult to update. In late 2014 I relocated to Australia and spent an amazing year getting to know my potential new home and my love. In this year I took up the mantle and with permission from my co-writer an original partner decided to make Indigents my solo venture as I re-established myself as an artist. I had been suffering a crippling depression for some time which affected my work and motivation which still has lingering effects. In an attempt to work through it I thought continuing this story which I dearly love would be good for me, and it has. However in October 2015 my visa ran out and I had to leave AU. At this point my boyfriend and I decided to work towards our goal of making Australia my permanent home, so we had a good deal of saving to do to afford my visa. During this time I stayed with my lovely and very generous friends back home. While grateful to have a roof over my head and the support of my friends on this journey my living environment was not conducive to working on my projects. I didn't have a desk to work at, money for supplies (since I ink traditionally), nor did I have regular access to a scanner. In fact I almost never had access to one. The computer I did have to use was my very old one I had left behind with family and it didn't function well. All of these reasons plus me trying to spend as much time with loved ones resulted in the comic getting very little attention from me outside of the planning stage. I do however have good news. Within the last month my circumstances har changed. I'm now back home in AU after a brief vacation in the U.S. With my Partner and am settling back to life in Melbourne. I have a few pages inked and ready to go so within the week I'll have photoshop and manga studio ready to go so I anticipate resuming my previous Friday weekly update either this week or next.

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continuing support and interest in Indigents and I look forward to sharing this very fun adventure with you all.
